Hi, last week I bought a Bobcat 453 -99 with only 1000h, but the hydraulic system for lift/tilts is very slow, 12 seconds for full lift, in the manual is says 5sec. The oil looks like whipped milk (when the oil is hot), the driving of the machine is ok, so I guess it must be time .It just takes a very small bit of oil moving in the hydraulic circuit to slow the rest of the functio. It will snail around and lift (not much) but once I turn the throttle up the hydraulics stop respo. The hydraulics are very slow after operating for a short time. The gear pump was replaced 50 hours ago plus new.
It will snail around and lift (not much) but once I turn the throttle up the hydraulics stop responding. I drained the fluid and replaced both filters and the problem is still there. I can release the park brake and the machine will drive properly, but the bucket will not curl or the boom will not raise or lower. If you make the machine bounce it will start working. Another primary culprit of skid steer issues is the hydraulic system. If the skid steer loader isn’t working correctly, the hydraulic fluid level is often at fault.
