Since my other cat has been in shop since it caught fire. I've had time to get parts to fix some of the issues and I've ran into other issues as well. ASV RC-100. We have an ASV-RC100 with approx 2000 hours on it. Electrical problems first started over a year ago. The first thing we had issues with was the Quick Attach. It shorted out after removing the overhead console and after talking with Terex Tech's we had to run a seperate wire from the switch to the Solenoid to get it working again.
Without actually seeing what the machine is doing I'm just giving you things I've encountered with ASV's. With mechanics there are always new issues arising depending on the machine. Reply
Try disconnecting the solenoid electrically, see if that locks it in low. Other thing you can usually do (I am not familiar with the ASV) on a two speed is remove and cap the small hose that shifts the motor on each side. In other words make sure the motors are working correctly and then decide if it's a hydraulic or electrical issue Recently removed the skid plates and cleaned the underside of the machine, did not use a power washer.
