Tractor FEL is not built to take the forces that a Front hoe can apply. A skid steer / track loader is a totally different machine in the capacity and capability of the front mount. If you try to run a front hoe on a L series tractor you are likely to damage the loader frame or arms. I saw an interesting implement from Titan - a quick connect front hoe. I scoured the internet for videos/reviews of this but couldn't find a single one mounted to a tractor. All skid steers. Titan claims it can be used on a tractor as well. This hoe has a 6 foot depth and a variety of bucket widths with an optional thumb. Goes for about 2 grand.
